"Minister Effectively" by Tim Kinchen

Even the Great Apostle Paul had to be told "Son, my Grace is sufficient". So if you are striving to be Christlike and you seem to be doing well, remember not everybody is. Some people are fighting disappointment, discouragement, and old fashioned temptation. If you are a few miles ahead of somebody in your spiritual walk, try to think back to when you were at their current spiritual mile marker. What scripture or encouragement helped you the most? And always deliver the message as though you are beside them not from above looking down. Only The Father deserves that spot.

This is really good !!! How many times do we as christians look down on someone..? We are all striving for the same goal ..its not by works lest any should boast....and as fellow christians we need to tend each other as if we are part of the same body, the church is the body of christ... what would we do if part of our body was hurting ? we would care for it bandage and wash it , care for it...so when we find a fault in someone, should we use it as a means to feel better than them and put them below ourselves ? go gossip to everyone and quickly tell about there fault ? NO .... lift that person up in your prayers...because there will come a time that God will allow you to go through something similiar, and your mind will go back to that same person...if we look at each person as in the body of christ we will be a family and work for each other and NOT against each other... The Lord is no respect of person... He loves us all equal even the sinner man who hasn't come to know Him !!!

This is so true !"Lord help me to remember this and to not be a stumbling block for my brother or sister. Let me help to guide them to You and not to give Satan a reason to gain a soul"

A former pastor once said, "Christians are the only people who bury their wounded." Think about that . . . Far too often I've been guilty of throwing dirt in a brother or sister's face rather than applying the soothing balm. Oh, Lord, forgive me and remind me that lest I lift up the wounded, I may be in that position some day.
