Deuteronomy 4:29 But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.

If we stay in tune with The Lord and His word and seek after Him we will be stronger as we let this living water refresh us.

2 Chronicles 12:14 And he did evil, because he prepared not his heart to seek the Lord.

When we commune with Him we are at peace, He will never lead us astray.

Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

Seek the Lord! Seek His word! Gain wisdom

Isaiah 55:6 Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

Sin, iniquity and wrong doing is increasing daily. Many are losing their conviction, finding a way to justify what they do.

Matthew 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

1 Timothy 4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

Get in the word and seek The Lord while He can still be found. Turn your life over to Him and let Him renew you and cleanse your life today.
Chronicletag:chroniclegospelgroup.com,2005:Post/64443412020-09-28T06:34:03-05:002021-04-28T08:22:12-05:00Be an Example by Bill Brinkworth
“Neither did we eat any man’s bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you: 9 Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.” II Thess. 3:8-9

One very important task every Christian is responsible for is to be a good, Christian example

to others. Many do not read the Word of God for themselves, have not learned what God has for them to do, and are more reliant on a godly example than they should be. It is dangerous to their spirituality to totally follow someone else, but it is common.

For this reason, Paul the Apostle, was very aware of eyes attuned to his behavior and actions and wrote some important points to be “… an ensample unto you to follow …”. In II Thessalonians 3, he pointed some of them out:

That obedience and understanding of God’s Word would be seen in his life, and that God would get the glory. If we are a godly example for someone, it should always be God and His work that gets the glory, not us!
“Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:” II Thes. 3:1
Keep your distance from others that are not doing right (“disorderly”), even if they are Christians (“brethren”). He defines “disorderly” in verse 11 as those that are lazy and not working, and those that are meddling in other people business (“busybodies”). Association with those type of people may give others the impression that you are also like the crowd you are with.
“Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.” II Thes. 3:6
Do not stop living and doing right. Others around you, even Christians, may be acting worldly, not obeying God, or not involved in reaching others for Christ, but that is no reason for you to abandon your post! Keep on keepin’ on, no matter what others are doing. Do not get tired of doing it alone.
“But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.” II Thes. 3:13

It would be better for all if each Christian would faithfully read God’s Word, and obey all that he is shown in its preserved pages, but not many do that. They often follow the actions and behavior of those they associate with. With this reality in mind, our responsibility to be a proper, godly “ensample” is thrust on us. Lead those that are watching or following your example down the right paths. There are eyes on your testimony — constantly!
Chronicletag:chroniclegospelgroup.com,2005:Post/63690422020-06-28T06:50:13-05:002021-04-28T08:25:04-05:002 Peter 3, 3-14 KJV “The Day of The Lord”
Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Does this mean they aren’t saved? No ... but sometimes the flesh can get in the way... We can do a lot of good but we have to watch out for the little foxes...that spoil the vine.. and that is why we must pray and be on guard for satans tactics...

Paul said he had to die daily. We can minister and do a lot for God but we need to be on guard to the little things that can ruin our testimony...

God is no respect of persons, so how does He feel when we treat His children differently? Or make them feel less than... or maybe just ignore them... there is no big “I’s” or little “You’s with our Lord.. like the saying goes, people will REMEMBER how you make them feel.. so let’s try to sow seeds of kindness and love not to some, but all.. not just to the ones we feel is worthy... we can’t say when someone is worthy enough for something.. no matter what it is... that is Gods job...just love without partiality...

Romans 2:11

For there is no respect of persons with God

Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

Romans 12:17

Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.

Matthew 5:43-48

Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
Chronicletag:chroniclegospelgroup.com,2005:Post/63444822020-06-06T08:39:22-05:002021-04-28T08:26:07-05:00Repentance a word from our friend Bro Calvin Robinson
I have been giving my thoughts on Isaiah 5, yesterday was regarding the six woes of this chapter. Now we come to
Is. 5:24 Therefore as the fire devours the stubble, and the flame consumes the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the Lord of hosts, and despised the Word of the Holy One of Israel.
The word "therefore" means for this reason, or consequently. This verse begins with this word, so what it is saying is because of all these things which were listed here, greed, drunkenness, mockery of God, calling evil good and good evil, pride, perversion and bribery. Because of these things God says now rottenness from the very root begins to take place, because that you have throwed away God's laws and despised His Word.
In verse 25 He says the anger of the Lord is kindled against His people, and their carcases were torn in the middle of the street. We are seeing this happening every day on the evening news. But this is just the beginning of what God is going to bring against our nation. You might ask Calvin what makes you believe that God is going to bring these things against our nation, we're a Christian nation. We have long since been able to regard ourselves as a Christian nation, there are some Christians which live in this nation, but our nation cast away the Word of God when we banned it from our schools, we have despised the Words of Jesus Christ when we outlawed prayer in public assemblies. There-fore in verses 26 -30 the prophet Isaiah says the Lord of hosts will call for nations from the end of the earth and they shall come speedily. The prophet Joel gave us a real good look at this mighty army which God is going to call up. The apostle Paul told us in 1 Corinthians that all the examples are given to us of whom the end of the world is come. We're coming to the end of this dispensation and we are beginning to see these things, I hate to think of other nations coming and destroying what God has blessed us with but when people refuse to recognize God, to worship Him, to fall in love with His Word then we have it laid out before us what God will do to a person or a nation that forgets Him.
Joel says in the 2nd chapter of his book, that this is a great and strong people. The land in front of them looks like the garden of Eden and behind them is desolate wilderness. They will leap from mountain to mountain in their chariots with a flame of fire devouring. Joel says that this is a day of darkness and gloominess. Isaiah says that they will be roaring like the roaring of the sea and behold, darkness and sorrow, the light is darkened in the heavens thereof.
I believe in God who is rich in mercy, I believe that God is still looking for people who will call upon His name. There is no access to God but by Jesus Christ, He is the way, the truth and the life. John said that He is our advocate with the Father and if we ask He is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. All these warnings are given to hopefully call a nation, an individual, just people to turn back to the One, the true and living God. Punishment is coming if there isn't repentance. Call upon Him while He may be found.
Chronicletag:chroniclegospelgroup.com,2005:Post/63311212020-05-26T17:17:21-05:002021-04-15T03:41:28-05:00Sowing Discord
16 These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

What does it mean to sow discord among brethren? Is it something that one should take lightly? Of course not! Rather, it is something that every saint of God should be aware of and avoid. Sowing is defined as planting seeds on or in the earth. The word discord means a lack of agreement or harmony between persons, things or ideas. It represents something out of balance. When put together the two words mean to initiate ill or corrupt thoughts in the mind of someone, (that can later develop in one’s heart). They mean to create ungodly or negative thoughts about someone else.

When a seed is planted, it does not remain a seed, but it germinates or goes through a growth process. It takes root, grows until it emerges through the top of the soil, and continues to grow. Although starting small, a seed can grow until it becomesas large as the largest tree. The same can happen when evil spiritual seeds are planted into someone’s heart. They grow the same as natural seeds grow. They do not remain seeds, but they germinate, and sometimes turn into very large issues such as bitterness, animosity, ill feelings, hatred, and many other venomous things.

Sowing discord is a deceitful act because it is done through sneakiness, lies, and using gossip in a way that makes the guilty party appear to be the better person. It alters how people think about others and creates mistrust. It can initiate bad judgements, can cause one to voice disparaging comments about a person who was once a devoted friend. It can spoil sound relationships among family members and close friends.

There may be times when jealously creeps into a person’s life, causing them to resort to sowing discord. There may also be times when a person feels threatened by another and discord is sown to try to discredit the individual. These acts are unacceptable with God.

There are many reasons why discord is sown but there is never a good reason to do it. It is so much better to use wisdom and talk to the person or persons involved, rather than use maliciousness and create chaos for self-satisfaction. The positive way to handle a situation is to first pray for spiritual guidance, then communicate with the person, discussing the matters of concern. God hates sowing discord among brethren, and He condemns it (Proverbs 6:19). It is more favorable when a discordant spirit has been detected to immediately discardit. Don’t let ‘it’ become enflamed!

Let us Pray: Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for allowing us to understand what sowing discord means. I pray that You will help us to keep an understanding so that we will never fall prey to doing the very thing that You hate. Help us to recognize its presence, wherever it may appear, and denounce it quickly, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Chronicletag:chroniclegospelgroup.com,2005:Post/59951922019-12-06T10:11:18-06:002021-04-28T08:23:55-05:00Be About The Father's Business
Time To Be About The Father’s Business

I had to stop and take stock. Am I this kind of Man???

“Second Timothy brings us to the brink of death, forcing us to consider its reality and how we might react when faced with it. Paul’s response instructs us still today. His mind was not on himself, dwelling on the injustice that had befallen him. Instead, trusting that God had him right where He wanted him, the aging apostle turned his attention to others, specifically to the church and to his young protégé, Timothy.

Where do you hope your thoughts linger as you come to the end of your days?”
Chronicletag:chroniclegospelgroup.com,2005:Post/50145032018-01-09T08:17:01-06:002021-02-13T04:12:29-06:00Treat Everyone Equal
Just something to think about, how do we treat people? Do we treat all equal? Dear Lord help us to treat everyone the same, like your word says for us to do. Lets read a little from the bible about this matter..

James 2:1-9 KJV

My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons. For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment; And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool: Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts? Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats? Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called? If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well: But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.

Romans 2:11 says "There is NO RESPECT OF PERSONS with God" He loves us all equal and what he does for me He will do for you. What He does for you He will do for me.. He don't love the one that has the good works more..

Lord help us to treat everyone equal, from the homeless person to the president. You never know you could be entertaining angels unaware. Hebrews 13:2 says "Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares."
Chronicletag:chroniclegospelgroup.com,2005:Post/47586862017-06-27T09:56:25-05:002020-10-24T00:46:28-05:00Jesus Christ The Servant, an Example to each of us
"The Servant Jesus Christ, all the way to His Death on the Cross He Served, and should be an example of how we treat people today"

-Jesus came and lived the ultimate example to us and how to treat others.

- He says to "But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the... evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. Matthew 5:44,45 KJV

- When they had punished and beat Him, He Said "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. Luke 23:24 KJV

-He went on to say in Matthew "But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

- He said to "Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. Matthew 7:12 KJV

- He said "Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: James 1:19 KJV

-A wrathful man stirreth up strife: but he that is slow to anger appeaseth strife. Proverbs 15:18 KJV

- He was a mighty KING but put down any selfish will of his own, living a servant example to us and painfully laying His life down willfully for us. He was the perfect example and road map for us.

- Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. Luke 22:42 KJV

THE WILL OF HUMAN MAN IS SELFISH, and is READY TO SAY WHATEVER TO GET HIS WORD IN, But IF WE WOULD just STOP and think WWJD. We are ACCOUNTABLE FOR OUR WORDS, CHOOSE THEM CAREFULLY.

-Some thinks it is being RUN OVER, to let the other have the last word... but look what the KING of KINGS went through... Our example is HE.

And Elisha . . . saw him no more -2 Kings 2:11-12
It is not wrong for you to depend on your "Elijah" for as long as God gives him to you. But remember that the time will come when he must leave and will no longer be your guide and your leader, because God does not intend for him to stay. Even the thought of that causes you to say, "I cannot continue without my 'Elijah.' " Yet God says you must continue.
Alone at Your "Jordan" (2 Kings 2:14). The Jordan River represents the type of separation where you have no fellowship with anyone else, and where no one else can take your responsibility from you. You now have to put to the test what you learned when you were with your "Elijah." You have been to the Jordan over and over again with Elijah, but now you are facing it alone. There is no use in saying that you cannot go- the experience is here, and you must go. If you truly want to know whether or not God is the God your faith believes Him to be, then go through your "Jordan" alone.
Alone at Your "Jericho" (2 Kings 2:15). Jericho represents the place where you have seen your "Elijah" do great things. Yet when you come alone to your "Jericho," you have a strong reluctance to take the initiative and trust in God, wanting, instead, for someone else to take it for you. But if you remain true to what you learned while with your "Elijah," you will receive a sign, as Elisha did, that God is with you.
Alone at Your "Bethel" (2 Kings 2:23). At your "Bethel" you will find yourself at your wits' end but at the beginning of God's wisdom. When you come to your wits' end and feel inclined to panic- don't! Stand true to God and He will bring out His truth in a way that will make your life an expression of worship. Put into practice what you learned while with your "Elijah"- use his mantle and pray (see 2 Kings 2:13-14). Make a determination to trust in God, and do not even look for Elijah anymore. (COPIED FROM SOMEONE ELSE.. BUT GOD IS SAYING, PUT YOUR CONFIDENCE IN ME, NOT IN MAN TO ACCOMPLISH WHAT I HAVE FOR YOU DO, AS HUMANS WE GET DEPENDENT ON OTHERS TO HELP US TO DO WHAT WE FEEL THAT WE ARE CALLED TO DO, THEN WHEN THEY ARE GONE, WE ARE LOST. Erma Bombeck a popular humorist and author, entitled one of her best selling books "Family- The Ties that Bind...and Gag" While we smile at her title, we all know the Erma tapped into a universal truth. Family relationships can frequently be frustrating, challenging, and even hurtful. But, they can also bring us joy and blessing.
Paul had a special word for fathers(and mothers as well) in this verse. If adults aren't careful they can place unresonable expectations on children. A childs tender heart can be quickly wounded by harsh words, unfair comparisons, or ridicule.
Paul balanced his warning with encouragement to train children in God's ways, disciplining them while loving them. Parents are to cultivate their childrens interest and knowledge in spiritual truth, using biblical principles. A spiritually and emotionally well-nurtured child is a joy to parents, as well as to God.
Chronicletag:chroniclegospelgroup.com,2005:Post/2809162013-01-15T04:08:31-06:002020-11-20T00:21:04-06:00Fallen Vessels <span style='font-size:36.0pt;

The words "these things" are translated- these, these things, this. Have you ever been faced with "this"? Perhaps you are facing it now. What "this" is is not always the same for everyone. "This" may be a marriage that is in trouble. "This" may be a rebellious child. "This" may be a bad report from the doctor. "This" may be fear that is trying to grip you. There are a lot of things and situations that are "this" that we find ourselves in.

"This/these things" are very real so we can't ignore them as if they don't exist. So what do we do and how do we handle them? "What shall we then say to these things?" We pray and we "say". We have to do some "talking" to them.

Jesus taught us to speak to the mountain. He never said to whine about it. He never said to shrink back in fear because of it. He said to speak to it. We have to speak to the situation and remind it (and ourselves in so doing) that God is for us, He is on our side, He is our helper, therefore, "this" cannot prosper against us. "This" may fight against us, it may look like it is winning, it may look like it is the victor, but keep speaking to it anyway.

We must guard against getting "spiritual wax build up", or anything else that would cause us to become spiritually hard of hearing. We do this by continually listening to God's Word- through reading it, through hearing it preached, through meditating on it. We keep our spiritual hearing healthy by obedience. When we ignore the prompting of the Holy Spirit, when we quench Him, when we disobey, when we go our way instead of following His direction, we are allowing our hearing to become dull. Each time we do it gets a little harder for us to hear Him the next time He speaks to us-- that still, small voice becomes almost indiscernible. Our spiritual hearing is also kept keen through praise and worship. Praise and worship refocuses you. It causes all your "spiritual senses" to be attentive in one direction-- on the Lord. Lastly, we keep our hearing healthy by not listening to evil, negative speaking that is against the Word of God. Our hearing has to be guarded from error so that it is able to hear truth.

John 4:14

Do you ever get thirsty? Sure, we all get thirsty at times for something cool and refreshing especially during the summer time. But I am talking about another thirst. We have a natural thirst that takes place in our bodies and we have an inward thirst that takes place deeper within us.

When I am physically thirsty, nothing seems to quench that thirst like plain old water- soda doesn't, juice doesn't, nothing, just water. The inward thirst is the same- there is only one thing that satisfies it. We try to satisfy it through relationships, through activity, through education, through social status, through entertainment, through possessions, but they still leave us thirsty. The woman at the well tried to satisfy her inner thirst through relationships- "For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband." (John 4:18)-- but always came up thirsting again.

The One who created us, who designed us, who knows what we are made of, who uniquely formed us knows what it takes to satisfy the inward thirst and He told us what that was-- "whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst." If you have tried to satisfy your thirst but are still thirsty, it may be because you are trying to satisfy it with the wrong thing. As I said earlier, the only thing that truly satisfies my physical thirst is water. The only thing that can satisfy this deep inward thirst is water-- the Living Water that Jesus gives-- this water is Himself.

Have a great day. Thirsty? The word says that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God ... Thats why is important to go to church, and to read the word... because as we hear and read His word and the more we hear Gods word and the testimonies of Gods people ... the more we believe !! We need to even believe when we haven't seen !! There was many miracles done in the bible days and there was still ones that doubted !! It's easy for satan to flood our minds with doubt but when this happens go to prayer immediately and stand on the word that cannot lie !!! But with out faith we can't please our God (Hebrews 11:6) it says : But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11: 7-10
7By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
8By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
9By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:
10For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
Amazing to me that Abraham obeyed God and the sripture says that he went... not even knowing where he was going... !!!
and the lady with the issue of blood for years she believed that if she could touch His garment she would be healed !! imagine as she pressed through that crowd with urgency that she must touch His garment and when she did ( touch His garment ) she was healed !!!!! It all started with faith !!!! God Bless You All !

Then He said to them, ”Follow Me,

and I will make you fishers of men.” They immediately left their nets and followed Him. (Matthew 4:18-20). There are so many things that we as Christians can take from this passage of scripture.

When we trusted in Jesus as our personal Savior the job for us as Christians should have begun at that point. As we can see Peter and Andrew immediately dropped what they were doing and followed Jesus. Another point to bring up is that we cannot be “fishers of men” if we are not prepared. I’m sure that Peter and Andrew never went fishing with torn nets or sails. They were constantly

mending and preparing for the next day. As Christians we set sail each day not knowing where God may take us or what circumstances we must face. It is so important for us to prepare for each day.

The storms of life come against us every minute of every day as Satan tries to tear holes into our testimonies and our service (our nets for reaching this world). There are several important things to remember that will allow us to set sail and become successful “fishers of men”. We must stay in constant prayer. Prayer keeps us strong and is the lifeline of communication between the Christian and God. We must abide in God’s Word. The Bible is our map and compass on life’s journey. It is also important to regularly attend Church. We can learn so much from each other’s experiences that we all benefit. That is why the Apostle Paul said not to “forsake the assembling of ourselves.” The Christian life is not an easy one, but it is the most rewarding.

Chronicletag:chroniclegospelgroup.com,2005:Post/952752011-03-19T06:40:00-05:002021-01-28T05:53:57-06:00"If We Want Revival First Comes Repentance" by Tim kinchenRevival has a purpose, Its not just so we can feel good and go home. Its drawing nigh unto God so that we, as THE CHURCH, can fulfill his purpose. Unrepented sin stands between us and communion with God. God says in his word he simply can’t look upon it, therefore we can’t function like he wants us too in his will. How can we when our lines of Communication are cut off.

As Christians we are quick to beat our chest and say “God you need to send Revival“, but are we looking inward searching out and asking The Lord to reveal, daily, those thing‘s that are corrupting our minds and bodies and separating us from the presence of God.

In the Old Testament a Priest with unrepented sin in his life was not allowed to go into the Holy of Holies to offer sacrifices to God or he would be killed instantaneously. I believe this is a type and shadow of the separation (spiritual death) from God that we suffer in today’s Christian life with intentional unrepented sin in our lives. We wonder why our prayers are not being heard, and why we can’t feel the presence of the Lord.

You want Revival ??? Then its time for some separation!!

How Can we commune with God when we have gorged our minds on trash being emitted from a television set. The watching of Television programming is not a sin within its self, but as Christians we need to develop a sense of when its time to turn the channel. When I have truly been seeking God, I can’t turn one on without the Holy Ghost inside of me being grieved, but the more you sit and watch programming unbecoming to the word you feel less conviction because you are feeding the flesh the trash it likes and the spirit man becomes weaker and weaker.

You may say that repentance is for sinners and I’m saved, but I say to you as long as you are robed in flesh you will fight the sin nature. It is important to remember though that the only way to fight the flesh is through faith in Christ and his finished work at Calvary. When you fall, repent and move on!

Paul said in Corinthians that he dies daily. Leading me to believe that, as great a Man of God as he was, he had to repent daily. “Dies” referring to putting the flesh to death in a spiritual sense. The act of Repentance achieves this desired end.

Will Add scriptual backup soon, but first I would like to give you a chance to add some!Chronicletag:chroniclegospelgroup.com,2005:Post/637072011-03-16T06:45:00-05:002021-01-18T07:21:53-06:00"Minister Effectively" by Tim KinchenEven the Great Apostle Paul had to be told "Son, my Grace is sufficient". So if you are striving to be Christlike and you seem to be doing well, remember not everybody is. Some people are fighting disappointment, discouragement, and old fashioned temptation. If you are a few miles ahead of somebody in your spiritual walk, try to think back to when you were at their current spiritual mile marker. What scripture or encouragement helped you the most? And always deliver the message as though you are beside them not from above looking down. Only The Father deserves that spot.
Chronicle
